Abstract: Jiafeng91A, a three-line CMS line of indica hybrid rice（Oryza sativa L.）, was a hybrid of F₃ generation of Quan 9311B// Quan 9311B / Quanyouhuazhan and Quan 9311A, which was backcrossed for several generations. It was an indica three-line CMS line with blast resistance （containing Pi2 resistance gene） by molecular marker-assisted selection. The breeding process, characteristics, main advantages and disadvantages, the matters that should be paid attention to in production, and the test and trial planting of the combined varieties of the sterile line were introduced.
