Research on the coupling and coordination development of new urbanization and rural revitalization in Huanggang City

Abstract

Abstract: The coupling coordination model was used to study the coupling coordination relationship between new urbanization and rural revitalization in Huanggang City based on the basic data of Huanggang City from 2012 to 2019. The results showed that during 2012—2019, the overall development level of new urbanization and rural revitalization in Huanggang City was on the rise, and the coupling degree was in a high state （0.9~1.0）. From 2012 to 2019, the coupling coordination degree of new urbanization and rural revitalization in Huanggang City was in a stage of coordinated development which was transitioning from the primary coordination state to the intermediate coordination state, and there was a large space for development. Accordingly, policy suggestions such as accelerating poverty alleviation and rural revitalization strategy and accelerating regional coordination were put forward.
