Abstract: Through the comparative analysis of the days from emergence to harvest, plant traits and yield of different types of spring-sowing corn, spring-sowing sweet corn, spring-sowing silage corn and spring-sowing early-maturing corn mainly planted in eastern Hubei, it was found that the three types of corn were significantly different in these aspects. In terms of income, spring-sowing sweet corn was significantly higher than the other two types of corn, and the comprehensive utilization potential of spring-sowing sweet corn straw was huge, which could be used as high-quality silage. Therefore, it was of strategic significance and market value to promote and develop local spring sowing sweet corn planting in eastern Hubei.
