Abstract: To investigate the salt tolerance of Aegiceras corniculata in the coastal area and to screen out their optimal salt tolerance concentration, different salinities (0.5‰, 1‰, 1.5‰, 3‰, 6‰, 9‰) were set and Aegiceras corniculata were cultured to determine the physiological responses of Aegiceras corniculata under different salinity stress, and the changes of morphological and physiological indices were measured respectively. The results showed that during the incubation period, all of the Aegiceras corniculata showed differences (P<0.05). From the morphological indicators of plant height, leaf length and physiological indicators of catalase and malondialdehyde, the lower the salinity, the better the growth condition of Tongfa tree and the lower it was affected by salinity. Therefore, Tongfa tree was more suitable to be planted in coastal areas with lower salinity.
