Abstract: Faced with the requirements of the era development for the construction of ecological civilization strategy, rural tourism, especially agritainment as the main body of the ecological modernization construction, has achieved better and faster economic development of rural areas. Agritainment has become a project that meets the needs of consumer groups in rural surrounding areas. Starting from the basic theory of rural revitalization and sustainable development of agritainment, the study analyzed the characteristics of agritainment, that was, the integration of ecological environment and local flavor, the coordination of immersive experience and reasonable consumption. In view of the problems in the development of agritainment, the development strategies of rural tourism in Ankang City of Shaanxi Province were put forward by drawing on the development experience at home and abroad.
