Abstract: Rural tourism is an important way to realize rural revitalization. The high-quality development of rural tourism depends on the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy, and can help the implementation of Rural Revitalization and promote the high-level growth of rural economy. In the current situation of overall poverty alleviation, the sustainable development of rural tourism can effectively consolidate and expand the key achievements of poverty alleviation. Firstly, based on the analysis of the current situation of rural tourism in China, this paper discusses the significance of rural tourism to rural revitalization; secondly, the development core of rural tourism is analyzed. Aiming at the prominent problems existing in rural tourism, some suggestions are put forward so as to promote rural tourism to more effectively consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation.
