Comparison of photosynthetic characteristics and fluorescence parameters of one-year-old and four-year-old native cultivation cuttage seedling of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum in Huaiyu Mountains

Abstract: The photosynthetic characteristics, chlorophyll fluorescence parameters, chlorophyll content and leaf shape index of one-year-old and four-year-old native cultivation cuttings of Huaiyu No.2 of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg in Huaiyu Mountains were compared. The results showed that the stomatal conductance and intercellular carbon dioxide concentration of one-year-old native cultivation cuttings were significantly lower than those of four-year-old native cultivation cuttings, while the stomatal limit, photosynthetic rate and water use efficiency of one-year-old native cultivation cuttings were significantly higher than those of four-year-old native cultivation cuttings, but there was no significant difference in transpiration rate and instantaneous carboxylation rate between the two. There was no significant difference in chlorophyll fluorescence parameters between one-year-old and four-year-old native cultivation cuttings. The chlorophyll content of one-year-old native cultivation cuttings was significantly higher than that of four-year-old native cultivation cuttings, but there was no significant difference in leaf length, leaf width and leaf shape index between the two.
