Abstract

Abstract: Qiai（Artemisia argyi Levl. et Van. var. argyi cv. Qiai） is a famous Chinese medicine, Hubei genuine medicine, and Chinese geographical indication product. The planting area in Qichun county reaches 15 600 hm². In this paper, herbal authentication of Qiai was carried out, and Qiai industry status was summarized from genuineness, brand advantages, ecological planting mode, processing business, and COVID-19 prevention. The main problems of Qiai industry were analyzed, and the corresponding countermeasures were put forward.
