Study on species and dynamics of fruit and vegetable flies in Yongxing Island of Xisha

Abstract: Quarantine fly monitoring was carried out in Yongxing Island of Xisha from 2017 to 2018 using citrus fly bait, melon fly bait, Mediterranean fly bait and protein bait. A total of 125 814 fruit flies were collected and identified as Bactrocera dorsalis, Bactrocera cucurbitae and Bactrocera tau. Among them, orange fly is the absolute advantage species. At the same time, the species, occurrence dynamics and host of fruit and vegetable flies in Yongxing Island of Xisha were discussed.
