Establishment of forecasting and early monitoring system on wheat aphid in Hebei province based on index and model

Abstract: Aphid is one of main inspects of affecting wheat production. In order to prevent and control wheat aphids scientifically and accurately, a meteorological service system was established for early warning and prediction of wheat aphids in Hebei province, based on three sets of indexes or models which were developed by the research group oneself by combining the knowledge or technology, agrometeorology, plant protection with information technology, and using GIS, VS2008、Microsoft Visual Studio 2008,C# and so on. It realized the organic combination of multiple functions, including data analysis and mining, early warning, prediction, diagnosis and knowledge retrieval, manufacture and release of service product, etc. It also had the function of transforming data of early warning about wheat aphids into a map covering geographical information.
