Evaluation of Dendrobium plant appreciation based on entropy weight method and grey association analysis

Abstract: The grey correlation degree evaluation and entropy weight calculation weight were used to evaluate the ornamental evaluation of 6 kinds of Dendrobium species. The results show that Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindl. and Dendrobium densiflorum Lindl. are in the top two in terms of equal weighted correlation degree and weighted correlation degree, and have high ornamental value. The other correlation degrees are Dendrobium trigonopus Rchb. f., Dendrobium cariniferum Rchb. f., Dendrobium harveyanum Rchb. f. and Dendrobium dixanthum Rchb. f.. According to the weights of each index, 6 Dendrobium species are divided into D. chrysotoxum and D. densiflorum of the flower-viewing category, D. cariniferum, D. dixanthum of the leaf-viewing category,D. trigonopus, D. harveyanum of the stem-viewing category. This research can laid the foundation for the development and utilization of ornamental value and breeding of Dendrobium species.
