Abstract: The effects of meteorological factors on chemical components of tobacco leaves in Linyi city were studied. Through cluster analysis, eight tobacco stations in Linyi area were classified, and the results showed that eight tobacco stations were classified into three categories. Based on the statistical analysis of meteorological data from 1964 to 2019 in the areas where eight tobacco stations are located, the average temperature from May to September is 23.3 ℃, the average sunshine hours is 203.21 hours, and the average accumulated precipitation is 624.7 mm. The results of canonical correlation analysis showed that the average monthly temperature would affect the total sugar, the ratio of nitrogen to alkali, reducing sugar and the difference of two sugars in tobacco leaves; the average monthly sunshine would affect the total sugar, reducing sugar, the difference of two sugars and the ratio of nitrogen to alkali in tobacco leaves; the average monthly precipitation would affect the total sugar, reducing sugar and the difference of two sugars in tobacco leaves.
