Abstract: In the Shuanghe area of Xintang Township, Enshi City, Hubei Province, the acidic selenium-rich plot soil was selected and different soil conditioners were applied, including superphosphate, lime, boron-zinc-calcium-magnesium fertilizer and bio-organic fertilizer. The soil pH of Dahuang(Rheum palmatum), Gaoben(Ligusticum sinense), Baifuzi(Typhoniumgiganteum), Niuxi(Achyranthes bidentata), the correlation between total soil selenium and available selenium, the correlation between total soil cadmium and available cadmium, and their influence on the enrichment coefficient of selenium and cadmium. The results showed that the conditioner lime and bio-organic fertilizer had the greatest impact on soil pH and total sele nium content of different Chinese medicinal materials. Different conditioners do not have a consistent trend in the correlation between total selenium and available selenium in soil and the correlation between total cadmium and available cadmium in soil with different Chinese medicinal materials. The selenium enrichment coefficient of different conditioning agents for Baifuzi was significantly higher than other Chinese medicinal materials, and the cadmium enrichment coefficient for Niuxi was significantly higher than other Chinese medicinal materials, but there was no obvious rule among other Chinese medicinal materials.
