Abstract: Based on Kaya identity and LMDI method, the influencing factors of CO2 emissions in three provinces of northeast China from 2000 to 2017 were analyzed. The results showed that, the economic development effect was the main factor to promote the growth of carbon emissions from 2000 to 2012, and the effect was obviously weakened after 2012; The energy intensity effect had a inhibitory effect on CO2 emissions; The energy structure effect had both positive and negative effects on the increase of CO2 emissions; The impact of population scale effect on CO2 emissions had changed from weak promoting effect to weak inhibition effect after 2012. Combined with the analysis results, some policy suggestions for the management of CO2 emission were put forward.
