Abstract: E Liangyou 28 is a new early-maturing variety of two-line medium Indica hybrid rice from crossing EK 2S with conventional rice Fudao 88 by Food Crops Institute of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences. This variety has the characteristics of good plant and leaf morphology, high quality, early maturity, and good resistance to rice blast. It has been certificated and registered by Hubei Committee for Crop Variety Registration in July 2021（No.2021080） and is suitable for planting in Hubei rice-wheat continuous cropping areas as post-wheat rice.
