Research on the influence of public service motivation of grass-roots civil servants in Urumqi city on work performance

Abstract: Public service motivation is the guide for promoting individuals to act for the purpose of public interest. In order to further explore the mechanism for improving the level of public service motivation of grass-roots civil servants, 353 grass-roots civil servants in Urumqi city were selected as the research object, and the impact of public service motivation on job performance was studied through regression analysis of data. The results show that public service motivation is common in Urumqi grass-roots civil servants, and public service motivation is at a high level. The attration of public participation and self sacrifice have a positive impact on the work performance of grass-roots civil servants in Urumqi, and put forward relevant suggestions to improve the performance of Urumqi grass-roots civil servants by improving the level of public service motivation.
