Abstract: In order to explore the impact of water storage and flooding on the vegetation in the water-level-fluctuating zone of the Three Gorges Reservoir reservoir, a survey of the vascular plants in the water-level-fluctuating zone was carried out by using the transect method from June to July 2012. The results showed that there were 81 species of vascular plants in the water-level-fluctuating zone, including 44 species in Chongqing Changshou-Banan section, and 65 species in Chongqing Fuling-Yunyang section, which were mainly herbaceous plants; Mainly gramineae and compositae. The dominant species were perennial submerged-tolerant plants such as Cynodon dactylon, Hemarthria altissima and Alternanthera philoxeroides; Plants were affected by human factors such as flooding, shipping, farming, and natural factors such as terrain and soil.
