Influence of social support on social well-being of rural college students under closed management

Abstract: As the backbone of rural revitalization, rural college students' physical and mental health have always attracted much attention. The closed management measures under COVID-19 pneumonia influence the social well-being of rural college students. This paper explored the influence mechanism of rural college students' social well-being during the period of closed management by regression model and structural equation model, and explored the specific influence effect of social support and loneliness in the model under the condition of closed management. The results show that social support can predict loneliness negatively; Social support can significantly affect social well-being; Loneliness has a negative impact on social well-being; Loneliness plays a part of the mediating role in the model of social support and social well-being.
