Determination of 5 chemical constituents in Sedum aizoon L. by HPLC

Abstract: To establish a HPLC method to simultaneously determine the content of 5 compounds in Sedum aizoon L. and use single factor and orthogonal experiments to select the optimal extraction process. The results showed that the established HPLC method can be used to determine the content of five components accurately at the same time, the concentrations of myricetin, rutin, quercitrin, quercetin and kaempferol in 22~88 μg/mL, 5~20 μg/mL, 18~64 μg/mL, 0.32~1.28 μg/mL, 0.56~2.24 μg/mL have a good linear relationship with the peak area, respectively; the range of recovery rate of 5 compounds was 95.61%~107.38%; and the RSD values was 1.37%~4.60%. The optimal extraction process was 50% methanol, 90 ℃ heating reflux extraction for 30 min.
