Abstract: Three kinds of single types of garden wastes (litters, deciduous and grass debris) were selected as experimental materials, and different proportions of soybean residue and sheep manure were added. Fertilization was carried out by highly intensive fermentation equipment. Samples were taken at the early stage ( initial mixing stage), middle stage (after equipment fermentation), and late stage (after complete maturity) of the fertilization process. Organic matter, pH, nutrient content and germination index were detected. The results showed that the treatment of soybean dregs∶sheep manure∶green waste 1∶1∶8 and 1∶2∶7 had the best performance. Because of the shortest composting time, high total nutrient content, moderate pH and high germination index, they were conducive to plant growth and good composting effect. Among them, the treatment of soybean dregs∶sheep manure∶green waste 1∶1∶8 had more economic advantages.
