Isolation and identification of a pathogen of walnut black spot in Yichang city

Abstract: To identify the pathogen causing walnut black spot in Yichang city, the pathogenicity was determined according to Koch's rule. And the pathogenic bacteria was identified by morphological characteristics and rDNA-ITS sequence analysis. The results showed that Alternaria altenata was the pathogen causing walnut black spot in Yichang city.
