Abstract

Abstract: Pilea cavaleriei Levl. is the whole plant of urticaceae. It mainly contains sesquiterpenes and their glycosides, volatile oil and other components. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, reducing swelling, diuresis, relieving phlegm and relieving cough. The chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Pilea cavaleriei Levl. was reviewed in order to provide a basis for the further development and utilization of Pilea cavaleriei Levl..
