Abstract: The tissue culture seedlings of Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz were used as experimental materials, the changes of the content of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), abscisic acid (ABA), gibberellic acid (GA3), and zeatin nucleoside (ZR) in the root-inducing process (0,6,12,18,24,30 d) were determined by the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The results showed that the content of ABA was increased initially and then decreased. The concentrations of IAA, GA3 and ZR displayed the opposite trends, which were decreased firstly and subsequently increased. The contents of IAA and GA3 and the ratio of IAA to ABA were significant or extremely significant positively correlated with rooting rates, while ABA contents were negatively correlated with rooting rates, and there was no significant correlation between ZR content and rooting rate.
