Abstract: Taking the leaf cutting seedlings of annual Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ as materials, the effects of light quality on color difference, chlorophyll and anthocyanin content of annual Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ leaves were studied after three months of treatments with white light, red light, blue light and ultraviolet, then the effects of light quality on the coloration of the Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ leaves were analyzed. The results showed that different light quality was important in the coloration process of Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ leaves. Among them, ultraviolet had the greatest effect on the color difference and red saturation of Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ leaves, and effectively increased the content of carotenoids and anthocyanins in leaves, and had the best effect on promoting the color of Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ leaves.

Key words: Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’, light quality, color difference
