Abstract: The Magnoliaceae plants are widely distributed and varied in genus and species. There are many controversies in the identification of genus and species because many transitional types were found among different genus and species. At present, botanical shape characteristics are usually used as identification methods for the classification and identification of magnoliaceae plants. In order to further identify the magnolia plants, the acid polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis was used to analyze the gliadin of magnolia plants. The results showed that 61 bands were separated from 10 species of magnolia, and most of the bands were between 6 and 7, with a maximum of 9, and the lowest 6. Using Quantityone software to analyze electrophoresis bands, it is found that there are differences between different bands, and species identification can be carried out through spectral bands.
