Abstract: Plant nutrition was improved by adding a moderate amount of trace element zinc, manganese, boron, and cyclase inhibitor nicotine. The field experiment and instrument analytical method were conducted to study the effects of the Improved Plant Nutrition on the lycopene content in tomato fruit. The results showed that, under the condition of the Zn∶Mn∶B∶Plant Nutrition=2.84∶0.25∶0.23∶100, adding 80 mL/L tobacco water extract, the lycopene content had a very big enhancement, increased from 8.57 mg/kg of the contrast to 21.32 mg/kg,which had the very good application prospect.

Key words: Improved Plant Nutrition, lycopene, nicotine
