Abstract: Five strains of Mycoplasma synoviae were isolated from twelve suspected samples with clinical symptoms of Mycoplasma synoviae infection.Morphologic observation, biochemical test and molecular biological analysis were used to identify these strains. The results showed that the five strains were all Mycoplasma synoviae. Live bacteria counting results showed that Strain HN3 had highest number of living bacterium, 109 CCU/mL. Virulence test results showed that morbidities of five strains to 45 days-old SPF chicken were 50%~90%. Strain HN3 had highest morbidity, was 90%.
