The breeding and application of two-line hybrid indica variety E-liangyou 1453

Abstract

Abstract: E-liangyou 1453 is a two-line hybrid medium indica new variety combined by PGMS line E-nong 1S and R1453. The variety showed high yield, fine grain quality, comparatively good multiple resistance and suitable maturity. It was registered and released to commercial production by Hubei Provincial Crop Appraisal Committee in 2019. The breeding process, characteristics, key technical points of cultivation and seed production of E-liangyou 1453 were introduced.
