Abstract: The paper discussed the frost-resistance of winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) in seedling stage and the change of leaf conductivity under artificially simulated low temperature stress in order to provide theoretical basis for the selection of fine wheat. Seven strains were used to investigated in the vernalization chamber under different low temperature treatments (0 ℃,-3 ℃,-6 ℃ and -9 ℃) with 0 ℃ as control. The results showed that the conductivity increased with the increase of low temperature stress. The evaluated results showed that Pumai 087 was the most anti-freezing, which was followed by Zhoumai 18, Tianmai 166 and Zhengmai 6694, and Longke 1601 was the weakest.

Key words: winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.), low temperature stress, leaf conductivity, frost-resistance
