Abstract: Based on the analysis of the compatibility of multiple co-governance and rural water environment governance and the main structure of multiple co-governance of rural water environment, the differences in co-governance goals, the absence of multiple subject responsibilities and the rigidity of the operation mechanism of co-governance faced by multiple co-governance of rural water environment were analyzed. Therefore, solutions from clarifying the goals of multiple co-governance, clarifying the responsibilities of multiple subjects, and optimizing the operating mechanism of co-governance were put forward, in order to promote the rural water environment governance process and improve the rural water environment.
