Abstract: Luotian county, Hubei province, has made great achievements in agricultural development. At the same time, it is also facing the problem of deteriorating agricultural ecological environment. In terms of rural farmers, there have been problems of insufficient green development, low proportion of green GDP, dirty and chaotic living environment, and relative poverty of farmers. This study analyzes the current situation, existing problems and countermeasures of rural green high-quality development in Luotian county, Hubei province. It study found that the problems of high green development cost caused by inconvenient transportation, the loss of talents caused by low education level and the backward mode of life and production in rural areas still exist, and puts forward some countermeasures such as improving traffic accessibility, continuing to promote Luotian characteristic agricultural products, introducing a large number of talents to develop economy and improving the quality of farmers to change the backward mode of production. Through the study of county rural green high-quality development, it is helpful to stimulate the potential and vitality of rural green high-quality development in Luotian county.
