代际支持对城乡老年人精神贫困影响的实证研究

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 基于中国老年社会追踪调查2014年和2016年的面板数据,运用随机效应Logit模型,探讨双向代际支持对城乡老年人精神贫困的影响。结果显示,子代对亲代的经济支持、工具性支持和亲代对子代的工具性支持会增加老年人的精神贫困,亲代对子代的经济支持与情感支持中的见面能够降低老年人的精神贫困,通话对老年人的精神贫困没有显著影响。城乡对比分析显示,子代对亲代的经济支持对城镇老人精神贫困的影响更大;通话会增加城镇老年人的精神贫困,但会降低农村老年人的精神贫困。总结而言,双向的工具性支持会增加老人的精神贫困,双向的情感支持会降低老人的精神贫困,子代对亲代的经济支持会增加老人的精神贫困,而亲代对子代的经济支持会降低精神贫困,城乡老年人受双向代际支持的影响有差异。

Abstract: Based on the panel data of China longitudinal aging social survey in 2014 and 2016, the random effect Logit model was used to explore the impact of two-way intergenerational support on the spiritual poverty of the elderly in urban and rural areas. The results show that the economic support, instrumental support and parental instrumental support will increase the spiritual poverty of the elderly, the meeting between parental economic support and emotional support can reduce the spiritual poverty of the elderly, while telephone conversation has no significant impact on the spiritual poverty of the elderly. The comparative analysis between urban and rural areas shows that the economic support from the offspring to the parents has a greater impact on the spiritual poverty of the elderly in urban areas; Calling will increase the spiritual poverty of the elderly in urban areas, but will reduce the spiritual poverty of the elderly in rural areas. To sum up, two-way instrumental support will increase spiritual poverty of the elderly, two-way emotional support will reduce spiritual poverty of the elderly, economic support from children to their parents will increase spiritual poverty of the elderly, while economic support from parents to their children will reduce spiritual poverty, and the impact of two-way intergenerational support on urban and rural elderly is different.
