Abstract: Rural tourism is a new form of deep integration of industries in rural areas,and it's an important way to realize the rural revitalization strategy for our country. From the perspective of industrial composition, this paper summarizes rural tourism as a new form of integration of agricultural tourism, cultural tourism and ecological tourism, analyses the new connotation of rural tourism in terms of tourism space, object and form, and analyses the industrial composition and tourism activity combination of rural tourism. On base of clarifying the connotation and industrial structure of rural tourism, it furtherly explores the driving mechanism of industrial integration from two aspects of “demand side” stimulation and “supply side” reform, and puts forward a series of countermeasures and suggestions to promote the healthy development of rural tourism.
