Abstract: This paper introduced the compositions,main functional characteristics and applications of the monitoring and analysis platform of rainstorm mesoscale system.This platform integrates multiple commonly used data in business into one platform,by comprehensive utilizing computer technology,GIS,database as well as the meteorological professional analysis,the platform achieves the goal of monitoring and analysis the occurrence and development rainstorm mesoscale system quickly and efficaciously.Based on multiple data,the platform can monitor the mesoscale rain clusters and mesoscale systems of rainstorm,through the mesoscale filtering,automatic and interactive recognition of rainstorm mesoscale system,the platform can analyse its structural characteristics and its occurrence and development,based on multiple models and regional automatic meteorological station precipitation data,the platform also can correct the 6 h quantitative precipitation forecasting.
