Abstract: Agricultural characteristic town is an important carrier to promote the supply-side structural reform of agriculture, and play an important role in the upgrading of agricultural characteristic industries from "special" to "strong", "convergence" and "integration". Based on the analysis of the status quo, advantages and problems of the development of agricultural characteristic towns in Nanjing, suggestions are put forward from four aspects, scientific planning, seeking the support of characteristic industries; improving infrastructure, expanding the functions of small towns; promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, introducing talents; strengthening project audit and establishing environmental protection indexes.
